I think children and the way in which they walk through the world is the most inspiring. Kids have such a genuine curiosity about the world, asking questions philosophers and scientists can only dream of. I was the youngest sibling of a small family, and I never got to interact with many other children outside of school as I grew up. Watching children explore the world and discover the beauty of color and light inspires me daily.

About the Artist: Grace Lang is a photographer and artist currently based in Athens, GA. Born and raised in Athens, for years she has been a familiar presence, establishing a raw, extensive documentation of the underbelly—the community of musicians, skaters, punks, and onlookers alike. From traditional documentary photography, fashion editorials, and action frames to dramatic, edgy fish-eye frames of people, skaters, and concerts, her diverse body of photographic work has come to be an examination of the human condition and shame.
