What still makes me dream? Open space. How lucky I am to call Alaska home, where open space is at every bend. When the world gets heavy, I look up and out, and dream of easier times.
Materials: Watercolor
From the Artist: "What a treat it is to pass down the gift of creation. It’s such a mechanism of peace. Every child deserves an opportunity to express and make a mess."
About the Artist: Lacey Miller is a lifelong interior Alaskan artist. Her work is heavily influenced by the habitat that surrounds her, often depicting wildlife and the Alaskan landscape. Miller appreciates sneaking in a bit of weirdness here and there to keep things fresh. When she isn't practicing her art, you can find her on a riverbank thinking about practicing her art.
