This piece was inspired by a visit to the Umbrella Factory in Charlestown, RI. This little guy walked right up to my grandson making for the perfect photo op! He is lightly printed on fabric and painted over with Inktense pencils and quilted. The background is printed on gelli plates and quilted.

About the Artist: Cara Christensen is a retired elementary school teacher who has always had a passion for both teaching children and making art. When this opportunity to create art for kids came to her attention, she could not resist!
