“I find wonder in all things, but especially in the vast expanse of this mysterious universe. This piece was inspired by the Cosmic Cliffs of the Carina Nebula.”

Materials: Acrylic on paper

From the Artist: "Growing up as a highly creative child who experienced poverty, I was desperate for any kind of art supply I could get my hands on, which were few and far between. Being able to now use my art to help provide art supplies to other children feels, in some way, like I’m also giving that to my younger self. I’m so proud to be even just a small part of this mission."

About the Artist: My acrylic paintings are inspired by emotion, memory, and the places and objects that shape our personal stories. I use bold color and an expressive style to turn familiar places into something more imaginative and emotional. I’m interested in how a place can hold memories long after we’ve left and incite feelings even if we’ve never been there.
